Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is focused on getting to know you and your oral health. We’ll review your medical and dental history, take any necessary X-rays, perform a comprehensive exam, and discuss your goals. We’ll take time to answer your questions and create a personalized treatment plan, no pressure, just clarity.

Do you accept new patients?

Yes, we’re always happy to welcome new patients and families to our practice.

How often should I visit the dentist?

For most patients, we recommend visits every 6 months for cleanings and exams. Some patients may benefit from more frequent visits depending on their gum health and risk factors.

Is your office good for patients with dental anxiety?

Yes. We focus on gentle, patient-first care and take extra time to ensure you feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout your visit.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept dental insurance?

We are a fee-for-service practice, which means we are not contracted with insurance companies. However, we’re happy to submit claims on your behalf so you can receive any out-of-network benefits available to you.

How does out-of-network billing work?

You pay for treatment at the time of service, and we electronically submit your claim. Your insurance company will reimburse you directly based on your plan’s out-of-network coverage.

Do you offer payment options?

Yes. We accept all major credit cards and offer flexible financing options through third-party providers to help make treatment more manageable.

Do you offer discounts or membership plans?

We offer in-house membership plans designed for patients without insurance. Please contact our office for details.

Appointments & Scheduling

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?

We understand that things come up. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer that time to another patient.

What happens if I have a cold sore or am feeling sick?

For the safety and comfort of all patients, we ask that you reschedule if you have an active cold sore or are feeling unwell.

Do you offer emergency appointments?

Yes. If you’re experiencing pain or a dental emergency, please call us. We will do our best to see you as soon as possible.
